T2 copper sheet: material and selection
T2 copper sheet is an electrolytic copper product selected for electrical conductivity, heat transfer and formability. Common procurement uses include electrical contacts, shielding components, formed conductive parts and thermal components. Suitability depends on the drawing, service conditions and supplied temper.
T2 and C11000 are often compared in copper procurement, but a grade comparison is not proof of compliance. C11000 is classified as electrolytic tough-pitch (ETP) copper by the Copper Development Association. Do not specify this product as oxygen-free copper or substitute it for an oxygen-free grade without engineering approval.

Grade, standard and inspection documents
Write the required material grade and product standard separately. GB/T 5231 concerns wrought copper designations and composition. ASTM B152/B152M covers several copper grades in flat-product forms; citing it alone does not identify C11000 or certify a batch.
For an order specified as C11000, confirm the applicable standard edition, temper, dimensions, tolerances and acceptance tests. If a mill test certificate, conductivity result, chemical analysis or additional inspection is required, include it in the inquiry and agree the documentation before ordering. Mechanical properties depend on temper and thickness; acceptance values should come from the agreed specification and batch results.

Is T2 copper sheet the same as C11000?
They are commonly compared for conductive applications. A substitution still needs confirmation against the drawing, composition, temper and product-standard requirements; the names alone do not establish interchangeability.
Is this an oxygen-free copper sheet?
No oxygen-free designation is implied. If your application requires an oxygen limit or an oxygen-free grade, specify that requirement explicitly so an appropriate material can be quoted.
